About the IEEE ENET The IEEE Entrepreneurs' Network (IEEE ENET) is a special interest group of the Boston Section of the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers), the world's largest professional organization with 375,000 members worldwide. Founded in 1991, The Entrepreneurs' Network has been instrumental in the formation of more than 25 companies, and its participants have conducted substantial business through networking. Targeted at entrepreneurs and early stage investors, ENET meets on the first Tuesday of every month from September through June, addressing most topics of interest to entrepreneurs such as raising money from VCs and Angels, alternative sources of funding, business plans, sales, marketing, legal issues, and exit strategies. ENET's logo, combining visual elements from the "right hand rule" of magnetic force, the dollar sign ($) from business, the color of money, and reflections of the parent IEEE logo, was created by Ralph E. Grabowski based on a concept by Fausto Molinet. The IEEE Boston Section provides nearly 20 meetings on technical and professional interest topics each month. Information on upcoming meetings and events is published monthly by the Boston Section of the IEEE in its newspaper, The Reflector, which is distributed to 17,000 IEEE members in the New England region.
